Here's the thing...

Floyd has pretty much dismantled everyone that he has ever faced & you people seem to neglect that fighters that he has beaten that are worth mention...you hang on to the fighters that you want to discredit.

Let us not forget that Margarito has faced no one.
Let us not forget that Hatton has faced only Kostya.
Let us not forget that Cotto has now been dropped by lesser fighters than Mayweather has destroyed...one of those being Corley that put a bit of a hurt on Cotto.
Let us not forget that Mayweather...no matter how effectively he beats a man...will never have done enough.

nothing around floyd points his the true p4p king...even if you beat your oppenent like how floyd has...compare those oppenents to those of pacs oppenent who pac all dropps...and winky gives boxing lessons to...

the only thing is floyd is undeafeated...but his living no where near the danger zone pac and winky survives in...though they have mix result they fight all thats great around but at the end of the night pac and winky is on top...as for floyd thier isn't really anyone great to fight...so he goes on to display his talent against b contenders...and when tony calls him out...he turns down 8 million and doesn't care about the fans wanting that fight...who does that?

lito floyd prolly sees margarito as a bigger better version of castillo...lito floyd stays peranoid not wanting his perfect record taken away...remember floyd being worried in the corner against castillo...some of the fear of losing his perfect record against castillo gotta have left affects...and his terrified to face some one similar which is margarito...its prolly a nightmare for floyd...

how do you figure he doesnt fight good opponents??

look at who he has fought........ keep in mind that before he fights most of these guys, the critics start saying that this is the guy whos gonna beat floyd

then they fight, and when its all over floyd made them look SO bad that these same critics are the ones who turn around and say "oh well he was nobody to begin with"

theres two things that matter to floyd:
1) money$$$
2) his legacy

fighting margarito would bring him a lot of money, but do nothing for his legacy


or he could fight spinks and make maybe 5-6 million, but also do something that NO OTHER fighter has EVER done.

if it is money he is after we have Tony, if it is legacy he is after then exactly what big names are on Floyd's resume that will be talked about in ten or fifteen years time? Spinks you say?

and before you gimme his 135 conquests yes I agree he was possibly one of the best lightweights to lace'em up but thats not the question any more. You don't build legacy by calling people out or James Toney would be one of the best Heavyweight Champions today.
