There is nothing official about Mayweather being finished, in fact the opposite is true, so I changed the title so it wasn't misleading.

If he is really going to fight Ortiz, why did he turn down $50 Million? I'm sure with that kind of money, Marquez can wait?
I don't know. I'm a little sceptical about that offer given I've only heard Arum talk about it, and I have a hard time believing much that comes out of his mouth. If it was made and he turned it down, but clearly now has shown he's got the intent to keep fighting then you can only think he doesn't want the fight.

Anyway I'm sure this is legit. His twitter page is verified so it's actually him.
Mayweather was repeatedly questioned about it. He replied to the $100 Million part of it saying I never said I wanted $100 Million, I said I could make $75-$100 on the back end. That pretty much indirectly confirms the offer was presented to him without him actually having to deny it.
Well what I read is he denied it!

I never took that as even being an offer. What he was offered was before the recent BS started flying around about the $65 offer was a guaranteed $50 Miilion dollar offer which he rejected back in the beginning of April way before the deal was made with Marquez.
