Class post! I had always seen the name, but had never bothered to read up on him too much.

Also this puts Joe Louis into perspective as he lost 2 years of his prime and STILL successfully defended the title 25 times in a row!!! A streak that's damn near unthinkable these days!!

Every time I look at Joe Louis the guy gets more and more impressive. That doesn't happen very often.
