As an AMATEUR....clean ever since and Wlad has never tested positive. Also when I said "they live clean" I meant they don't live like pigs between fights, they stay in shape which seems to help does it not?

Size plays a big part, but if they weren't damn good at their craft, it wouldn't make a difference. If you've ever been in a fight with someone much bigger, you know what i'm talking about.

Ever heard of the term 'Charm Offensive'...

Come on guys, what are we saying here? That because Wlad can actually speak English and has a personality that it somehow makes up for his passive, robotic, paint by numbers fighting style?

For what it's worth, I see this Charm Offensive as nothing but a front. Infact his whole demeanour is just a cover up, his 'charm' completely vanished when our sky interviewers grilled about being sparked by fast punchers... What will happen he actually gets hit by one.... What has happened in the past? The charm vanished. He comes across as this guy who is composed, collected and has all the answers... Both in and out of the ring BUT WHAT HAPPENS WHEN SOMETHING COMES HIS WAY THAT HE AIN'T READY FOR?

His calm demeanour VANISHES... Both in and out of the ring

Like someone said before, he might not have a glass chin, but he DEFINITELY has a glass mind

The boxing message board account holder goes through so much effort when he talks about Haye... It's fucking hilarious, is it honestly worth typing words and words instead of just pressing FOUR bloody keys?! H-A-Y-E

I wouldn't care, but you completely waste your time doing it as I'm still not even sure what point you are trying to make, other than that you find haye worthy of extra time and effort when typing.

You talk about Haye so much that I wonder how many collective minutes, maybe hours of your life you've wasted on it.

Nothing to do with 99% of the rest of the division being utter utter garbage then?

Hornfinger if 99% of the division was in top shape they'd be better fighters...The Klitschko's simply take full advantage of living right, training properly, and following a game plan. Its not against the rules for other fighters to try and follow that example.

Of course size is the issue. Do you think any of these guys with a huge size difference would be in the top ranks without it? Hardly. They would probably all have at least 10 losses on their records if they were average size for a heavyweight. When you get into elite range for skills, size makes a big difference.

Nicolay Valuev was huge and he still sucked. Primo Carnera big but not good.

I love how people discount the skill of The Klitschko's simply because of their size.

But that's if their not good. If they are good, have speed power and agility, size means a lot. If they are an oaf with low skills, the size and the power that goes with it, is the only thing that got them that far.

Agreed. If the klitchko brothers were a mere 6 feet 4 inches, they would still be good due to skills but a less dangerous. That goes for lewis as well. :-)

On the flip side, we should be proud of how much mike tyson accomplished for his small size.

If me aunty had bollox she'd be my uncle.

I completely agree 100%. But it is what it is. A terrible terrible division plagued with fat over weight undertrained underskilled fighters. Ruling this division is no great feat.
