Gonzalez doing alot of sizing up but he waits in front for old vet, too much. I think Gutierrez took the 1st. Things are there for him to exploit but real early.

Good start as Gutierrez knocks kid off balance with hook but Gonzalez answers back strong and pins him on roped for most off 2nd round. He hits him with everything and gets caught with big right but weathers it. Nice stabilizing round for young gun that one. 1-1 here

Gonzalez eases up in 3rd and really plays defense. I dont get that. Gutierrez sneaks shots in and walks in. Lots of posing at rounds end but Gutierrez did more in that one.

I just really get the feeling that if Gutierrez did more he could seriously bother this young Gonzalez. He doesnt sustain an attack and has bad body language for a prospect. Both laying in quite a bit late in 5th. Gutierrez needs an uppercut badly in there...edge to Gonzalez in 5th

I have ZERO idea how these announcers have it a shut out for hometown favored undefeated prospect.

When he attacks he does outstanding...but then backs. Now he hits Gutierrez in his carry on luggage and is sent to corner

Nice arcing left hook from Gonzalez. Switches stances ? Good learning for Gonzalez, straight shots kill Gutierrez...he digs to body nice too. When he attacks Gutierrez just shells up and backs to ropes

Much better pressure from Gonzalez. Gutierrez just looking for sneak counters off ropes but nothing on them really.
