I'm suggesting only that Ortiz is much bigger than Pacquiao and can do more damage with a punch that lands on Floyd's head due to the mass behind his punch. Ortiz will step into the ring at 160+ as he did against Berto. Perhaps you think he is a lightwelter? Ortiz is not " MUCH BIGGER " than Pacquiao. He's a little taller but that's doesn't give him much size advantage. Have you compared the legs of these two? Legs are an important part of a fighter's body because that's where balance and punching power is generated and Ortiz has some chicken legs compared to pacman.. On top of that, Pac's has an 8 inch wrist size which is an extreme case for a man of his size.. 8 inch wrists are for HW fighters, and that's another reason why his punches have great effects.. these are some of the reasons why he's been hurting bigger men at higher weights.. ( Besides PEDS which is another story ).... ORtiz doesn't punch harder nor is he the type to impose his size on his opponents so size is pretty much a non-issue here..

Dont believe everything you read on the internet because this came straight from the horse's mouth. A negotiation is between two fighters in the same room, sitting across from each other and that never took place.
