Last I heard Donaire was back with Top Rank after a brief parting to GBP. Now, I read nothing about his next opponent. Did he decide to take a break? Anyone got a clue?

I don't know but I never understood why Donaire left Arum or Top Rank to begin with. I heard, Donaire's wife Rachael had something to do with it, which makes me wonder, if it's true, why the fuck Donaire lets his wife run his business.. Who know's but, Top Rank should be Donaire's best bet they can afford to pay him more than GBP.

BTW, the "Flillipino Flash" is one of my favorite fighters.

While I can't fault a boxer for trying to get as much as possible, the guy has to be realistic. Boxers that are in weight classes below 130 don't command $1 million dollar paydays, and it was just idiotic that he tried to get out of a contract that he really can't get out of. Whoever gave him advice is a fucking idiot.

Great talent no doubt. But the guy is seriously wasting away his prime years.

I recall reading the story about the bonus offer from GBP and something about Legal protection from any TR retaliation so I can't say I would have taken the money if I were in his shoes. I guess if that makes me a fukn idiot without having to take a punch, then so be it. When she is rubbing it your face, it's hard not to bite.
