Trouble with the Hall is that they have no criteria in writing. No operating manifesto. It's a very subjective process.
Right, the main purpose of the hall is to honor outstanding fighters and their achievements, and not everyone who gets in needs to be a Marciano, Ali, SRR, et al. There's probably a guy or 2 in the HOF that doesn't deserve to be there, but big deal, like you're saying, it's all subjective anyway.
