Wlad seems very comfortable, at ease, I think he's having fun because he's been looking forward to this for 2 years. Wlad was ready then and he's ready now.

2 years of being told "I'm going to decapitate you" is bound to get on anyone's nerves especially when the guy spouting off about it has refused to back it up.

Audley Harrison and John Ruiz aren't good stepping stones to Wladimir Klitschko....but I reckon some people will just have to find that out the hard way.

Who cares who wins a war of words? Words don't mean shit once you step into the ring.

So true, but from what i've seen, Haye isn't even winning the war of words, for the most part Wlad has been clowning him. Haye comes off as someone who's putting on a brave front and tries to pretend he's Wlad's equal, but it's all a masquerade.

    I agree.

And the funny thing is that with the amount of trash Haye talks - more than almost any fighter out there - the fact that Wlad who doesn't do any talking at all is even on the same level with him, has to be so infuriating to Haye.

if we were to go by that Mayorga would be p4p #1 in the world and guys like Mayweather and Pacquiao would look like his bitches in comparison in terms of pre fight trash talk

Really? Hmmm.... when did words get the ability to throw or block punches?

I can see it now, Haye will get into the ring and say the word "knock out", and Wlad will go down.

The only thing Haye is winning so far is some respect for finally stepping up against the best HW of the moment. For the rest, it's all down the drain.

I thought Wlad has been winning it personally but it really does not matter in this fight. Who lands the bigger bomb on the chin wins the fight.

Only if the one listening allows it to have effects.

It worked once for Ali, some other fighters compare themselves to Ali and thats their big mistake. Mundine comes to mind, of all people Spen came to the rescue.

That clinches it for me. I now have the answer to all future fights. Whoever wins the pre-fight war of words, wins the fight. I'll be 100% correct from now on picking winners of fights.
