Hall of fame means Rocky gets in no doubt he deserves it.
Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.

Of course Stallone deserves a place. Who else has done more to take boxing to the big screen than him? He's done as much to popularise the sport of boxing as most of the greatest boxers.
Rocky Balboa is probably along with Tyson and Ali the most recognisable (albiet fictional) boxer in the world.
Im really glad they put him in, the man is a legend

hey Miles, whazzup dude? Hey, seein as that Volcano fight aint goin down til August or so, I was thinkin of squeezin in a little warmup fight with .........., you know that contrary, pedantic little twit on this forum. And seein as you are the Big Cheese Promoter, I figure you could double your earnings in a single summer by settin' this thing up for me.
I'll be down to 147 by end of July. At that time I could use a win by first round knockout over ......... It would be a good tuneup for the Volcano. Please check with our previously-discussed Special Agent about setting this biggy up. Thank you Miles.![]()

But, my god, how much plastic surgery has that man had? He looks quite ridiculous.
Shhh... you're not supposed to start a sentence with 'and'. I'd love to be your first fight though. It'd be a good learning experience for you.
You'll have to see if Miles can set this one up. Should be easy enough though, far from being pedantic I'd actually be quite happy to meet any demands you may have -
The ring: any size you want
Gloves: Hell forget gloves... if you wanted to be bare knuckle and have me duct tape two king sized mattresses onto my fists it'd be fine. Fuck you can even decide what boots I have to wear... I'm thinking 200lb concrete cast blocks on each leg would be OK.
Rounds: Again, any length and amount that suit you... even if you want the ability to pause the action when ever needed and have me do continuous burpees whilst you get massaged by the ring card girls for as long as you need, that's fine.
Weight: This is the only point I will be strict on... i refuse to lose more than 90% of my bodyweight... any more than that and it would be too easy for you... this is meant to be a learning experience, after all.
I have to say though... I think I am a bad choice... You're completely inexperienced so why waste your first fight with a walk over like me? Before you hit the mean 147lb Korean circuit seriously, you need a fighter that will push you, challenge you and make you learn... being that you're an inexperienced, out of shape 50 year old... I really don't think that I, as a young, experienced amateur light heavy weight who makes a living by being in constant good shape can give you that challenge.
You'll need more than a box of spoons before you do this thing for real... and I don't think I can give you what you need.![]()
225 and its a "go".200lb concrete cast blocks on each leg would be OK.
p.s. that post was typed BEFORE we made up.
It's obvious why Tyson is in and congratulations Mike. Stallone is a movie star, an actor and yet he made a profit and inspired people to go to the gym. Did he try to impersonate a fighter? Was he bragging in someone's kitchen about being a champion? How about Bob Hope? Did he say he took Hamburger Hill? NO! Whatever rocks your world. No one gave Bob a congressional medal of honor. Stallone promoted the sport as a movie star, author and producer but he's one of the biggest fans and that is why he got the award. He could have starred and produced love stories and there wouldn't be a
