When I think of Jack Dempsey, my first thought is always of the Dempsey Roll. The roll was a dip to his right then a ducking, swinging move to his left, where he came back up with a left hook. Truthfully, I have no idea if Dempsey originated this move, but when I was a young man taking boxing lessons (in the 50s) that's what I was told.

I think he probably grabbed that move from Langford.

    Good observation sir.
