Now of course I'm not in a position to do this BUT if I was to prepare a fighter to fight Wladimir I'd make sure the fighter fought at least 1 power puncher and at least 1 good boxer. I Would also make sure my fighter fought someone roughly the same size as Wladimir. Alexander Dimitrenko seems an easy enough target...roughly the same size as Wlad, has Wlad's old trainer, and decent but not tremendous power.
I'd also try to get him to bob and weave with at least some regularity.

Wlad's fights have taken on a metronomic consistency. After 2-3 rounds that jab just turns these guys into stationary targets and then it is just a question of when Wlad decides to end it.
