Fightnews has reported that the WBA may not sanction the bout due to a dispute on the selection of referee Genaro Rodriguez ....there's no depth too low for Sauerland and the WBA title holder.

....Though at this point the actual belt is just a minor bonus to Wlad, I'm sure he just wants to bludgeon that bastard into submission.

I'm 99% sure the title will be on the line. I can though for once see where the WBA are coming from. This guy has let Wlad hold excessively in the past and that is something that should be addressed.

On simple solution, use a referee that hasn't been used in either mans fights before!

Lyle NEEDS a ref that will let Wlad hold excessively, which is illegal may I add.

The Sky team hit the nail on the head though, they have shone the torch on the ref now so he will feel pressured into stopping any of the holding from Wlad like Cortez was in the Hatton vs Mayweather fight by the Mayweather camp.

ESPN has no fucking clue about boxing or soccer unless you watch shows specific to those sports.

The ESPN guys apparently think its cute to ACT like they have no clue who either of the fighters are or have any idea that a heavyweight fight is happening....why Wlad's not an American....that's all there is to it.

People wonder why boxing is getting such a bad rap its because of people continuously slamming the sport, they NEVER have anything positive to say about it....its all Ali and Tyson and "Man, things were soooo much better when _____" and no other sport (bar basketball post Michael Jordan) had the issues boxing has had with people hating on it.

They weren't sure which klitschko was fighting, said didn't matter they're both 45 nowadays...and all they said about haye in as many words "who da fuck is that". This fight might be huge to us, and in europe but over here the casual sports fan has no idea its going on, doubt more people know about this than knew about joe call- kessler, its ridicelous. What makes it worse is the pti guys claim to love boxing and slag mma, yet they know jack about boxing. Boxing is dead in america sadly
