Wlad vs Haye fight thread - lets score it!

Ring, I scored 2 rounds for Haye. I thought Haye fought scared. Why? Because when he did land a shot he didn't follow up. And I don't want to hear about a toe. The toe didn't stop him from throwing the right hand shot that landed. It sure didn't stop him from then moving away (which he did) rather than moving forward or to the side to follow-up.

Brits in the crowd (and Lampley) got excited by punches thrown by Haye that didn't land.

Capt, what I never did get was why the HW division was going to be so much better off with Mr. Excitement as HW champion, Haye is shit, thanks for clowning this dickhead, Wlad.

I think he gets points for selling himself and creating a mystic, hype etc. More of a curiosity with potential and had a new car smell fresh off the sales lot....but when the chips were down he hit the Highway and was more of a gloified colorful Ice Cream truck doing 50 mph in the fastlane.

I voted Wlad KO, but........ geeeeez, I just want it to be a GOOD fight. After seemingly YEARS of waiting, this is one of the two fights the public has been waiting for for a long time. The other, of course, is the Pac-PBF soap opera. Haye has talked the talk. Now I just hope he can walk the walk. I'm not that partial to either. I just want it to be a good fight. I'm worried that after all the incessant posturing and hype, some "Murphy's Law-esque" event will come up and bite the fight in the ass. Fight ends 'cause of a foul..... someone twists his ankle and the fight is over....... an accidental headbutt ends the proceedings....... you name it. The ring collapses and the fighters are injured....... whatever. I want a GOOD fight, damn it. I want both Wlad and Haye to rise to the occasion, and make the fight worth the damn wait.

Oh wait..... how could I forget another and a very likely scenario? Geeeeeeez..... I hope it's not another Wlad-Sultan borefest, with Haye avoiding Wlad's power shots and Wlad pawing like an idiot the whole fight. That would be the biggest bummer of all.

That being said, and if they come to fight, I don't think Haye will be able to avoid Wlad's bombs throughout the whole fight, and will eventually get caught.

UNFORTUNATELY....... the fight lived down to my expectations.

To be honest, with Wlad's past chin issues, and all of Haye's hype, I had some doubts about the outcome prior to the fight, I shouldn't have been concerned. So Haye lands a decent shot or 2 on Wlad during the fight and finishes the fight on his feet, that's about like winning a race in the Special Olympics, yeah, you won the race, but guess what, you're still retarded.
