Bob Dylane - Hurricane. About the history of Rubin Hurricane Carter and his arrest. We all know how that Carter was probably quite guilty but this song is nevertheless a classics too.

My favorite boxing song is "Arm And A Leg" by 80s metal band Keel.

Is this thread leading up to a song about Haye?

Mark Knopfler is a phenomenal talent, saw him a few years ago. So few people attain that level of playing and still write great songs. Easily the best one on your list imo. The Hurricane is a good song also, kind of funny that Carter was painted as an innocent man in the mainstream, I guess it was a gimmick as much as anything else. I got a kick out of watching the movie, despite Denzels character even the film doesn't really do anything to suggest he was actually innocent. He was arrested because he was seen leaving a club with another black man in the same car he owned, yeah, crying shame that, couldn't have actually been him.![]()

That Keel tune is on their "Final Frontier" cd/cassette/whatever. I, personally, think it was Tyson inspired.

Jheeze, how old are you lot?
Ok, with some more contemporary rap music
Ludacris feat. Floyd Mayweather - Undisputed
Fashawn - Manny Pacquiao
Nas - Legendary (Mike Tyson)
Jay Rock - Money on Mayweather
This wrongly gets credited on boxing sites as Floyd's song, but actually it was just part of a Jay Rock mixtape
Joe Budden - Inception
I like all these songs, but this is my personal favourite. Even if you don't like rap, stick it out till the chorus, I don't think a boxing fan could fail to love it.
Also if you do like rap, check out more of Joe Budden & other members of his group Slaughterhouse (Joell Ortiz, Royce Da 5'9 & Crooked I), they frequently reference boxers & not just Mayweather, Ali & Tyson like most MC's.
