Haye talked a big game but it was that, talk. He was in the fight early. He won round 3 on my scorecard and round 4 was close and some may have given him that round. As the fight wore on he didn't make an attempt to show any more aggression until the final round.
Lets be honest, he fought scared. He feared getting knocked out if he engaged more.
And the flopping. Yes, Wlad pushed him down at least 3 times. But Haye kept flopping. The one that a point was deducted was a clear flop!!! He was lunging in, ducking his head and upperbody so low that he could have bumped into me and he would have gone down. Then he'd look at the ref and cry about it.
Even the guardian and the BBC have included in their writeups that Haye was going down to the canvas too easily!!!!!
Haye's punch output was a joke. If you take away the 4-5 decent right hands he landed, then his punch output, excessive movement, and refusal to enage, was reminiscient of Ibragimov's con job against Wlad.
