IF Haye had pulled out of this fight a second time. He'd be facing a bigger crap storm than he is facing right now.

Look how much flack he's facing for saying he had a broken toe and the flap he gets for it. Had he backed out of the fight this time just 3 weeks before this showdown, he'd be facing even more scrutiny and everyone claiming that a broken toe is no big deal for a boxer that have probably never boxed in their life with a broken toe. But it would spread like wildfire through the media, and on the boxing forums, and any anticipation for the fight would be killed.

It isn't exactly like when Calzaghe kept getting injured before his bout with Lacy and then went in and dominated. Haye already had a sort of reputation because he pulled out of the first fight which had already spread. So if he'd pulled out again, the fight probably never would have happened. Wladimir would have fought Chisora and went on with his life and October would come and Haye would "retire".
Haye should have simply kept his mouth shut about the toe and he would not be catching nearly as much crap now as he is.

Also I believe Bruno is skeptical regarding Haye's toe injury and that is why he said that Haye should have pulled out IF the toe was that bad.

Obviously if Haye had pulled out it would have been a MUCH bigger shit storm and pulling out of the fight was not a realistic option.
