Fucking hell, the Brits getting big fights are getting more & more random. This will be on the Mayweather-Ortiz undercard. I'm thinking if I turn pro sometime around Xmas, I might just land a shot against Tim Bradley or Devon Alexander at this rate. I mean Chisora, Hatton & Barker were understandable just about, but Crolla? Only a year ago he was fighting Sid Razak in a leisure centre in Salford.

They need a useless scrub to keep Morales busy. Crolla fits the bill perfectly.

I wonder what kind of deal Morales made? He drew in over 7,000 at the gate with Maidana and made a bunch of money on the Mexican PPV market. He could still bring in a Major PPV without having to be on an under-card. I'm guessing he's getting a $250k and a partial share of the Mexican PPV with the promise of a head line fight his next outing but I though I heard him say he was done after this next fight? I guess he must also consider Crolla as light work.

GBP is really working to give this fight international appeal, a brit and a Mexican. I don't think there's enough money left on the under-card to bring in Alvarez. They could throw in an Asian like Chris John and maybe like Jhonny Gonzalez. Na...
