Has anyone ever become obsessed with you?

I think my worst example of this was years ago when I was quite free and single. I started dating this woman who seemed quite nice, but I realised she was a bit weird when she started trying to explain the scars on her wrists and her unhappy life. We hung out for a while and obviously I was young and pretty at the time and she was kind of falling for me. But me being me, I realised that this was not going to be anything wonderful and so I told her I only wanted to be friends. She was just too weird. She was then telling me that if I didn't want anything more then we could just be sex partners. Of course, being unlike Bilbo, I was not impressed. No way!

I thought that was ther end, but then she enrolled in my adult English class and freaked the hell out of me. She came with her friend and stayed for two months. Her friend looked at me like I was the devil the entire time. At the end of the two months she stayed behind after class and told me that we had to talk. I didn't want to but reluctanctly agreed. We met and immediately she was telling me that she just wanted sex again, that pissed me off so I had to leave.

I saw her a few months later in the same bar while drinking with friends, but this time she just left. Phew.

So my question of the day....has anyone ever become obsessed with you?

Well, not now. But a long time ago, I have been compiling notes in an autobiographical way and so I thought I would start this topic as I thought it was kind of funny.

It really did piss me off because she was quite mental. I mean she liked me in a way that was freaky. I seem to attract all the weird women and this was no exception. The cut wrists and the talk of a former boyfriend that met someone from Japan etc. Just too much for a 23 year old which is what I was. I couldn't just sleep with her or help her practice sex. I had to escape and to be fair I was quite lucky in those days, so didn't need that kind of baggage.

But apparently after getting rid of her she shagged some other English guy who people said was my doppelganger, so good for her. But he told me she was weird too and wouldn't meet her again.

I've never bothered with a diary as I am just too lazy, but periodically I do reflect and think and make notes on things. It hasn't been the most exciting life, but it has always had interesting moments. I have ideas for 3 different books documenting key parts of my life. My only problem is finding the will to sit down and do it in the way that it needs. I always argue that Burroughs didn't write Junkie until his mid 30's so I've still time to find my motivation. The stalking thing would only be a minor part of one novel.

I think "Putting The Dog To Sleep" is the ideal title for the first chapter covering your difficult childhood period. Then "One, potata, two potata" could be the title for the story of your early musical education. Some other chapter names would include "Landing in Lilliput", the tale of your emigration to Korea, and of course an important educational chapter " On the problem of the Jews and final solutions", and a couple of light hearted chapters such as "American GI's, not all cunts actually", and "The Rice Cooker wars".

Would you include us Saddonians in your biography, I think we are a major part?

Oh, and the book would have to called "A Sticky Cunt Abroad".
