A great british fighter who knocked on the door if the elite but didn't quite get through it unfortunately. Exciting fighter and top bloke.

The mad few days in Vegas for the Mayweather fight is one of those times in life that I will never forget , and will always reflect on. Will an overseas fighter ever take such a following with him to vegas again ? I doubt it. That summed up what Ricky meant to his fans

Was expecting to hear any moment that he had agreed a deal to fight Wlad tbh, poor guy can't resist the pies, can he? At the very least you knew when you tuned in to a Hatton fight he was gonna throw the kitchen sink at the other bloke and go out on his shield if he couldn't knock his opponent out, or beat them into the canvas for a points victory - unlike certain other Brits *ahem*. I can say that I watched both of Hatton's fights against PBF and Pac and prayed he could affect an upset, and my heart went out to him when he was found wanting. Hope he stays clean and gets on with his promotions business, genuinely a nice bloke, a people's champion - good luck to him.

    Yep agreed,

1st time I seen him abroad was Urango, that was a mad trip to Vegas, think I slept a total of 3hrs in 5 days Did better the Mayweather fight, managed at least 12 hrs in them 5 days !

It will be some time till we get another one like him !
