Rumors have it that Uncle Bob is negociating hard to pit Bute against Pavilk, good for Bute's visibility in America, not that interesting boxing wise. If Kessler wants to look for something else, I'd like to see him against Froch or Dirrell and to see his last bout of contract with Showtime against Ward.

Good post Nameless, good win, but let's see Bute against some of the other top super-mids now, bring on Kessler, Ward, Froch, et al, enough with the bum of the month club.

What about a fight with Johnson? I'd much rather see that than Bute - Pavlik.

Regardless of the circumstances, Bute is pissing his career away. I think he has all the tools to rule the SMW division, but he's just sitting around getting older and fighting gimmes. It's been pretty disappointing to watch his career progression to this point.
