If you've ever seen 'I-Spy' with Owen Wilson and Eddie Murphy, Eddie's character 'Kelly Robinson' is a dead ringer for a Prime Roy Jones Jr..
He speaks about himself in the 3rd person, he has very quick clever insults for his opponent, and is completely unaware of anything going on that doesn't involve him.
I loved that movie for Murphy's performance alone...hilarious.
That being said, I have a hard time listening to Roy when he's talking about another fighter. It would be like asking Picasso his opinion on Salvador Dali or whoever else. Roy competed with the highest level of skill in a sport where 1 mistake ends a fight and can ruin a career and he did it so effortlessly for so long, I just think every fighter he sees he judges too harshly or judges in comparison to himself.
Also I think there are fighters that know the sport that aren't great communicators and guys that are entertaining to listen to but aren't good at giving the insight into the sport...hell its hard to find a good entertaining fighter that can do color commentary. Shane Mosley might be one I'd look at in the future, I've heard Tarver is good although I don't like him, and hell Foreman does a decent job.
