I think Gerald McClellan vs. Jay Bell is the quickest KO in a title fight. Bell got counted out after 30 seconds or so. I'd imagine Burns-Cook would be quite high on the list.

Fellow Puerto Rican Daniel "Cobra" Jimenez KO'ed Harald Geier in Austria in 17 seconds of the 1st round in a title fight in Sept 1994.

The referee robbed Naz of a 12 second win against Lawal, think he carrried him after the first knockdown and it went on for 30 odd seconds

Bernard Hopkins stopped Steve Frank in only 24 seconds.

It's the fastest KO in a IBF title fight and the second fastest in a middleweight title bout according to Boxrec.

    Thats the fight above.

For any uneducated boxing fans who are just used to seeing the recent BHOP this shows how dangerous he was in his prime. He became a better technical boxer as he got older but he could punch when he was younger and he wasnt slow either. Always good to refresh those memories.
