I was just looking at Engel's record and in his last fight he fought a guy making his professional debut. I know Engel is shit (relatively speaking), but who puts a fighter in against a guy who is 17 - 4 with 14 KO's for their first fight?

Stacey Goodson would be proud of that kind of match-making.

This is criminal match-making at it's finest.

All these late matchups and weight issues really leaves me wondering just how many figthers are out there.

I mean for a shot on FNF shouldn't a promoter be able to call five gyms and come up with five super-middle-175, competent, in training fighters?

That looked low to me, but I'm glad it is over.

Well, we actually have that as far as rankings but not running on full steam now. Guaranteed the guys involved know of what they speak more so than the alphabet boys though

This is why i get upset about people trying to pretend sometimes that fnf is like comparable to hbo boxing. I mean hbo has some big problems. But at least they are even in the possible realm of competitiveness for ten seconds. Anyone remember the Kevin Finley sechew Powell main event from a year or two ago as a fnf main event. It was like a guy they found off the street and paid ten dollars to box.
