I am leaning toward Castillo for power and Chin, only cause even though Coralles Tko'd Castillo, Diego has a hammer in each hand and Castillo was taking tremendous punishment on the inside most of the fight and was dishing it out too, NEVER did it deter Castillo from coming Forward and I dont think Hatton has near the Power of Diego and in terms of Hatton pushing around Castillo I just dont see him doing it.. Castillo is as tough as they come and is naturally bigger than Hatton

Though I cant give an answer I am leaning toward Castillo

this would be a great fight at 140 (at 147 jlc would blow him out imo)
i still like jlc by late tko or ud
jlc would make 140, and probably come into the fight at 150-154
i agree with the points by rock, and im also gonna factor in hattons being prone to cuts (even with the plastic surgery)

my money would be on jlc
Good points Frozen.JLC is naturally bigger than Hatton and after he makes the weight he goes to the fight breaking the weight scale, and that is a very important factor considering that this will be an inside war much like JLC/Corrales I.Both have same styles, but I still think that Castillo will have the edge cuz Ive never seen him back out in a war and hes never been down in his whole career,Hatton will have problems with his face bustin up and I really dont think that he has fought with any1 that matches his pressure style and stamina, and IMO Castillo is the best pressure fighter in the game, his game is unique on the inside and hes elite at what he does.Thats why I still see a Castillo win if this fight takes place,Im still crossing my fingers after JLC punishment ends.

Castillo is what, an inch taller and maybe an inch in reach..

But Ricky Hatton is physically bigger than castillo in my eyes.

He weighed 158 in his last outing and is usually not far off in his LWW fights too.

I would certainly give him the nod on strength.

I think Hatton would beat Castillo as he is a more accurate, bigger version of Castillo.

That said, Castillo arguably beat PBF in their first battle and is a hardy veteran and p4p top 10 himself.

I think Ricky would just egde a very explosive exciting battle.
Srry bro,no mean to disrespect you but Im LOL at your post right now. You've seen when Castillo fights against some1 that is on his face all night longNot a pretty sight for sure,he got a nasty left hook and he lands it all night long and considering that Hatton's D aint that fabulous,I see the hitman getting his shots too but I know that JLC's would be the devastating ones, the ones that the judges will pay attention to.

The other point that you made ,stating that Hatton is a bigger version of JLC,is completely the opposite.

I think you right on with that assesment he was killing himself for a while to make 135 so 140-147 he would be fresher and stronger and no so depleted..

Hatton v castillo may answer itself if the UK rumours are true

    cc, back!

castillo fighting at 135 was selling himself short imo

i think he DOMINATES 140 for a while, then makes the inevitable jump to 147 during the twilight of his career

Hatton has openly said he wants Castillo as soon as he comes up to 140.

I would love to see this fight, but I don't think Ricky would have a chance of winning it.

If the fight happens in the states I couldn't see Hatton winning to be honest.
