Well if Bradely doesn't step up to the plate there are not many options at 140. I would rather see him fight Lucas Matthysse, but you can't blame the guy if Bradley doesn't man up. Morales doesn't seem that bad given the options, but yes Khan wins by KO within 6.

This fight is just another big name past his prime that will make Khan's resume look nice.

My problem isn't Morales so much it is that it is happening in December fer crissake.

I mean it's not like Amir has much to recover from. Fight Morales in September and then Guererro or Maidana or Mathysse in December.

What? Barrera unavailable for a second go man

Khan is stacking his resume with highly visable though far from top form names again here. Styles make fights and Morales will be steps behind the entire night.

Always good to keep your name in the media though, even if its not the biggest fight, he's trying to make a himself more of a household name, so he's got to keep getting out there!

I was against this when Roach first joked about it. Wanker.

That being said Morales would at least TRY which is a hell of a lot more than Judah looked to do.

I think it's an ok fight. He's still learning. I think people forget he's only 24.

Exactly! He's still only 24 and he's staying busy until he gets the big fights he wants.

We've covered this before but you'll seriously struggle to find any other boxer out there Khan's age who's faced the standard of opposition he has.

Everyone is making out he's the first person to ever fight a past it legend.

Sure Morales would try, and he'd have to do more then Judah, who only landed 20 punches the entire fight against Khan, but at this stage of Erik's career, a fight with Khan would have to be a total mismatch.

Ok all you whiners who are such doomers about everything, who would you have Khan fight?

Bradley won't go near him, he's already beaten Maidana and Judah, who were the other highest rated challengers.

Morales just fought a thriller with Maidana in what was one of the very best fights of the year, he's a massive name and it's a big interwst fight. It's also dependent on Morales winning his next fight.

So, as it's such a shit fight, who should Khan fight? How does he pursuade them to fight him? And what do they bring to the table more than Eric Morales?

I'm just wondering what exactly is Khan's main goal in 2012? Is it a fight with Mayweather or Pacquaio? I can't see the point of fighting Morales other than the fact Morales is a 'name'? He will beat Bradley so then what?
If it's a mega fight he wants then if i was Khan i would be at the next Mayweather fight taunting him at ringside.

A nice pay day for both fighters but I agree that it is a step back for Amir besides the name. I would have rather seen Eric fight Judah or even Mosley at this point. But in boxing it is written that it is out with the old and in with the new and Morales is a speed bump for bigger and better things for Amir. And I predict that regardless of the outcome of JMM and Pac that Khan will be next for JMM...Just a hunch
