Even Chad Dawson could drop down to SM. Mundine would be huge in Oz, Carl Froch is still very green but would proberly sell well.
Dude the fact that you just said a Manfredo jr(an unproven hypemachine created by the contender) vs Calzaghe would be better than Johnson who is the best LIGHTHEAVYWEIGHT in the world and a champion makes me question the depth of your knowledge of the lightheavyweight, supermiddleweght, middleweight division...Glen is a very formidable and exciting opponent
* I am not discrediting Manfredo jr I just think he needs a couple more fights before he is considered a major player and if not for the contender I dont think he would have had the exposure he has now I think a MAJOR fight would be disasturuos for him if he loses he will never live it down..
Bro question my knowledge all you like... but look at the names that had been mentioned for Calzaghes next opponent. Allan Green & Yassaf Mack. Now tell me Manfredo ain't in a better class than those two. I like Glen Johnson & was glad to see him win the LH title. But hes an old veteran, sure he's still a top guy but if you saw the Adamek/ Briggs fight you know Adamek can fight. Why not fight an undefeated belt holder, or even go after the guy who beat Johnson... Tarver. Tarver would be a match tougher test than Johnson
Cause Tarver is a Flash in the pan and Hopkins exposed that...If Joe indeed wants to fight a Durable PROVEN Champion than Johnson is that guy...Didnt mean to come across harsh but Glen is a game quality Champion at Lightweight thats all I'm saying
Sweet bro, but Tarver is a two time former Light-heavyweight champion, who dethroned Johnson & Jones Jr. Thats some flash in the pan
