Well RDS announced yesterday the same thing: Bute vs Pavlik more or less a done deal, it remains to be officially announced.

I don't think bite could handle too many over hand rights from johnson.
I mean froch took them so well but let's b honest froch iv noticed is blessed with calzaghe like recuperative powers so was able to fire back quick, not sure how bute would react as he would scrap with anyone
Fight would be november 6-7, so more or less 3 months after PAvilk's fight. Should give him way enough time to recover and to prepare.
As for Canoe, Everything by Quebecor is suspect but as for sports, they are normally damn pin point accurate. I and the Bute clan wanted Kessler too but the Vicking decided to go for Stieglitz... not much you can do in the circumstances.

That's the way it is, not the way it ends
I'll withhold judgment until after this weekend, but just from Pavlik's last fight, I don't think Pavlik will be as effective at 168 as he was at 160.
It's a shame Kessler opted for Stieglitz instead of Bute. That fight would have been a good one although I suspect Bute wins. I'd like to see Bute beat Pavlik in November and then fight Kessler in the winter of 2012.
I'mt just not convinced Pavlik can perform on the level of the top guys at 168.
