Well I've pissed sitting down when I've had to do one when also having a shit & from that experience I must say I can't see the attraction, it's amazingly uncomfortable. Not only have you got to somehow squeeze your dick down in between your legs so you actually piss into the bowl rather than all over your legs & the rest of the bathroom, you also have to sit far further back on the toilet seat then is comfortable imo, just so you don't end up with your knob rubbing against the underside of the toilet seat & bowl.

I have a fairly decent sized toilet and rarely use other toilets. If I do go to a bar it is usually a quiet one and I don't mind standing at the urinal if it isn't too busy. The standing thing is more about not wanting to be stared at. When drinking you just want to piss, you don't care so much for contemplation about whatever you were reading earlier in the day.
