Just makes me wonder if what you see on the screen isn't exactly what goes down. I wouldn't be surprised if Forbes ends up getting robbed because it's a better story for one of the more up-and-coming fighters on there to beat him against the odds. The show does have promotional rights to them once it's all done, after all.

That may just be a conspiracy theory though.
I wouldn't say thats so far off the mark...
In the second Mora Manfredo meeting there were a few bad dec. on that card... Blansate beat up on Brinkley and Jesse got the dec. Manfredo also outboxed Mora and Mora got the dec. It was like the winners were predetermined... As much of a Manfredo fan as I am, he lost the first one but this one he won........Anthony deff got the worst of the calls though. How Brinkley got the nod is beyond me. The Mora fight was closer but Peter pulled it out only to get decnd

Well, so much for your conspiracy theory.

If Pride knew what to look for in a fight, he would see that Brinkley won.
If Pride was not a huge Manfredo fan, he would know that Manfredo did not do enough in that last fight to get the decision.

That was some of the worst biased commentary by Teddy, Joe and Tommy. All 3 of them were cheering for Manfredo. It was so damn obvious, it was pathetic.

And now we are down to the finals at staples center.

    Forbes vs Brewer
    Bravo vs Bundrage.

I personaly do no like Bundrage's style. It's emberassing to watch. At least he does not think he is all that cus that would be a joke and a whole.

I wonder what weight class we will have for the next season?
Many people have been asking for a heavy weight contender tournament. I am not into the heavy weights but this could just spark my interest again.

    Peace.

i hate heavyweight fights nowadays they suck. it might be an intresting contender because all the fighters will probably try their best unlike now. there would probably be knockouts often too.

A heavyweight Contender season could be good for boxing, but the only way is if they can land legitimate prospects and journeyman, decent fighters... Sure the division sucks but there's alot of people they could sign to the show.. Chazz Witherspoon, Ibragimov, Jameel McCline, Oliver McCall, Davaryl Williasmon, even Brewster, Krasniqi, Dominick Guinn, Fraudley, Monte Barret.. people like that. It all depends on what kind of fighters they could get.. It's not as if there are any real contenders on this season, at least any of the guys Ive heard about have all been KOed when they've stepped up and such.

p4pking, Steve Forbes is the only cat who has not been ko'd. He has held a few trinkets. I don't know why he was even on the show but what ever. He was the favorite from the get go and so far he has done pretty good. Steve is not even a Welterweight and I think he will move back down to 130 or 135 after the show. At least he is not as old as some of the cats we have seen on this season.

K9 looked like he was robbed. Forbes was landing a lot of shots on the arms of K9 but the sound effects made it seem like clean hits. In fact in the times he was supposed to be winning I didn't see Forbes being that effective. But to the average joe watching the show it may have looked different

But of course since they only show us what they want to show of the fights we will never really know for sure one way or the other.

I agree with ya. Though it looked like K9 took that last round off against Forbes. Also, nice sig, I seen that on a boxing Tee Shirt. Good quote.

I knew they were going to release the fights, forgot when I posted. I wonder why they never released the full fights from the first season? Anybody know?
