Sergio did not fight his fight, all the things that worked in the first fight, were not there tonight.

    But congrats to Vernon.
What did he say Diane I didn't listen to the postfight.

Did Sergio speak, what did he say?

I tried to rep you back but Saddo won't let me yet.

It's weird because Forrest is usally regarded as a fairly refined and classy guy. On the front page of this fight before their first, even Jeff Wald Mora's promoter called him out and said that isn't Forrest's usual demeanor but apparently he just doesn't like Mora haha but I saw a speech he made once about pardoning Jack Johnson with Ken Burns and he was very eloquent and well spoken. So who knows haha

Certainly Mora has been guilty of being an ass before himself.

He was just shouting into the camera saying thats the difference between a challanger and a champion, i didnt think he said anything to disrespectful?

He was being a cocky ass, and said something like "That's the difference between a contender and a champion", and then still making excuses for the first fight.

And no, they didn't interview Sergio.

    No worries on the rep.

Yes indeed many people pick the fighter they think will win to win, as opposed to picking the fighter they don't think will win to win. It's the recommended approach, well done for figuring it out on your own

Marquez wins this in a close but decisive one. Judges may be a little biased towards Cas, but I think he is almost done.

Fucking Americans and their grossly over the top anthems

Why do they have to go so wavy voice and hold notes for such a ridiculously long time? It's not a talent competition

It wouldn't suprise me at all if he got it on with Joel Julio in a few months either.

Plenty of opportunities to get back in the mix.

I still think against a puncher Forrest is getting laid out.

Also, those guys you mentioned with the exception of Powell are all terrible at this point in their careers and not particulary relevant in the title picture. Kirkland, Angulo, Spinks, Lattimore, Santos are all guys who are going to be ranked near the top for a while. I think Santos already has a belt and there are guys still in development like Greene, Tsurkan, Julio, Vanes and I guess JCC Jr. who all have chances to be in the mix at the top.
