I actually thought Batman Begins was a better movie. I liked Ledger and all (he was great), but there was a lot more character drama in the first one imo. Then again, I am not really a Batman-fan per sé (even if I liked the Burton-movies), so I might just not find the characters from the comics particularly interesting, if they dont actually bring something on the screen.
And Die Hard is an absolute classic! Not even a guilty pleasure kind-a-thing, but absoletely and objectively a bad-ass flick. Like Reservoir Dogs. And Fight Club.
As for the one who mentioned Failure to Launch. Ouch. I was watching a few movies on dvd with a couple of female friends a few weeks ago, and we started out by watching Goodfellas (GREAT MOVIE - and my choice, obviously), and then proceeded to that piece of crap (their choice). It was beyond doubt the worst movie I've seen in a couple of years, however it was so atrociously bad that we ended up discussing it for weeks afterwards. The kind of movie where we'd be sitting there making jokes ('at least they won't do that'), only to see the jokes actually played out on screen afterwards.
