Scrap, Amritza is not the incident I am looking for. I am aware of a massacre at Amritzah (India I believe) by Britsh soldiers, but I believe that was a one day affair that involved at most a few hundred casualties, am I correct?
Anyways, the event I am looking for is the city of Nanjing China, where the civilians were slaughtered by Japanese soldiers prior to the outbreak or WWII. The event is known as "The Rape of Nanjing (Nanking)" There is some extensive and unpleasant video dicumentary available on Youtube. Be forewarned, it is not pretty.
I only found out about this a couple years ago, it is not as well known as you might expect

Thank God they eventually tried to do just that! without the American forces we couldn't have all won the war for England.
Kidding, The English were the backbone to all resistance, we all should have helped them alot earlier and banished the Gerrys and the Japs as one massive combined effort right at the start of each section.
Indeed. It was a stiff resistance they put up. We shall never surrender!!![]()
Nice intresting thread but hence I find myself at the end without a question so I thought I'd post one myself. What's the dryest place in the world?
lol thanks, yep thats the answer didn't think somebody would get it right away since you think dry you think desert usually. Hmmm ok then first civilization to use iron weapons

Yeah, Antarctica being the driest place is not something I would have guessed or deduced. Probably just a piece of info I picked up from another trivia game. It's counterintuitive for sure, a place consisting of so much ice and snow being the driest place on Earth.
Anyways, I'll have to pass on the Iron Weapons question, I don't know.
