Atlas right on the money regarding talk of a rematch. No reason for it. Loma would correct his mistakes, and Linares probably wouldn't put in a better performance. Anxious to see Loma in against tougher and tougher competition at this weight. Also agree he should stay here, or risk coming down to Earth against someone with even more power.

As they should, he’s fantastic. Think Mikey is right and Bob keeps those 2 apart but it doesn’t take away from Loma. Brilliant display as usual

It's a shame Linares couldn't continue. He was in the fight on the cards and at times there looked to be holding his own. Lomachenko was stretched and looked weary himself leading up to that. Lomachenko needs to stay where he is for a few years. Any higher and he gets hurt without careful matchmaking IMO.

I had Linares winning 5-4 at the time of the stoppage. Great win for Loma though. 135 is probably just a bit big for him to be great. I don’t think Bob wants him anywhere near Garcia. Loma may not get up if Garcia lands a big right hand. Honestly, I wouldn’t fault Loma for going back down in weight. Can he still make 126? If he could, there are a lot of great fights to be made there.

Well what a fight Lomo was brilliant Linares is a very good fighter the best at the weight this is boxing at its best simple! Lomo was well ahead on my card Linares was excellent the size David V Goliath instead of a sling and a stone Lomo used a left hook to the body
Chaps fights like theses are a rarity it was a treat hats off to both in facing each other I don't get up to watch fights normally but I did for this one I am still buzzing now.
I like Linares and enjoy watching him fight but Lomo got off the floor to win he won well excellent punch need I say more
I think I witnessed one of the best fighters I ever seen in Lomachenko my son told me ten years back Dad watch this guy
hes special and do you no something he was spot on.

Cracking fight, I had Loma up but it was close, size is the only thing that will beat Loma.

I was working last night but caught most of it on the replay. Great fight from two fantastic fighters. Linares really made great use of that reach and the early knockdown was a peach of a shot. As has been said just makes Loma look even better, the guy is a remarkable fighter.

    We’ll know soon about Garcia

    Loma listed 5’7
    Garcia listed 5’6

    Both 30

    Both champions

Both want to fight at the same time in the same city at the same weight. If it’s not Garcia then they obviously don’t want Garcia. Although I’m sure Loma and Garcia would want it.

Totally. It was a great fight. I had to stand up to watch most of it because my heart was racing. You know it is good when your palms sweat. Excellent effort from both guys.

Don’t count on a Garcia fight. Bob has already begun his blockage

No surprise they will look to Beltran. I’m sure we all expected that. Think that is far beneath Loma’s level and a foregone conclusion who wins. But it sounds like a Mikey fight may never happen in Bobs words

Loma is incredible, his boxing skills, speed, accuracy, workrate and confidence is up there with the greats.

Amazing fighter and the body shot was vicious.

Loma has the work rate of Joe Calzaghe and the skills of Sweet Pea.
