Nope...but he beat him pretty convincingly...& Bika has been fight at 168 for quite sometime...big difference there.
Ouma faught a good fight. Why not give him his credit instead of taking away from Taylor?
Calzaghe's fought a lot of good fights. Why not give him his credit instead of always slagging off on him?

    What's your point?

The point for me is that Taylor aint that convincing at 160lbs when he's put in against someone that doesn't buckle like a belt.

Again...I've always stated that I like Taylor...but if the KO doesn't fall into his lap like most of his decisions...he falters.

cc wacko, great coverage as always. Got to tell ya that I am impressed with Ouma's chin, didnt think he would be able to with stand Taylor's shots like that. And props to Ouma for giving his all and never stopping stopping. Not sure what this says about Taylor thou, he did win.....

My point is this was Taylor-Ouma. What the fuck does Calzaghe got anything to do with this? He's following his win over the great Bika with the great Manfredo. Does Calzaghe really need this cheap prop?

    Thanks babe.

    Everyone has been ed.

Now...as far as what you said...Ouma is a tuff nut to crack...but it wasn't that Taylor didn't TKO him...it's the way that Taylor fights. He backs out with his hands down & he get's bullied across the ring from about the middle of the fight on.

I hate that. Pretty soon...I have a feeling that we'll be seeing another "Supposedly Undisputed Champ" of 160lbs soon.

Calzaghe has a lot to do with Taylor...that's the big Mega fight that HBO's setting up.

    Surely you knew that.

Also...if you think that a win over Ouma is better than a win over Bika...oh well.

And yes...I think that the Manfredo fight is a joke.

Tuff call...I think that Malinaggi is much more skilled & a better all around fighter...but I truly believe that Cotto probably beat the fight outta Paulie.

I'm gonna say Malinaggi by UD...but Cherry can pop ( ) & Paulie could be a bit gunshy after all the knots that Cotto put on his head.

Just so I got this straight. You think a win over a bum like Bika means more than a win over a former champion like Ouma? And I think and hope Cherry knocks out Malinaggi

Mark my words. Taylor-Calzaghe will never happen. Calzaghe and Warren will find a reason not for it to happen

Just so I get this straight...in your opinion...other than the Calzaghe fight, a draw with Soliman, & MAYBE the fight against Beyer...what makes him a bum? Because clearly...he isn't.

Also...if you start comparing apples to apples...Ouma stayed on his feet against Taylor...but was knocked out by a legit bum named Silva & beaten by a much lesser man in Karmazin.

I agree with you on Malinaggi.

I'm not much in argueing mode (thanks to the grey goose) but tell me if i'm right or wrong. Calzaghge and warren have been mapping a trrip to the us for the last couple of years. And where they do always wind up fighting? Not the muthafuckin US, i tell you that much
