I'm very disappointed that DLH didn't get the decision.  We saw the golden boy from one generation face the golden boy from another generation.  The elder golden boy proved beyond doubt that he was the better fighter.  Not that he needed to.  Comparitive achievements already dictate that fact.
Well you must count missed flurries then because Oscar didn't win that fight and thats debatable if Oscar would win in his prime just face facts he is good fighter but never beat a great fighter and had gifts against Whitaker Quartey and Sturm and i wouldn't like to bet if he really would win in his prime and he didn't prove he is better fighter at all he lost i think you need to rewatch the fight.
ICB you summed it all up right there  #842  People get excited with a few jabs and horseshit flurries that never land... Of course people dont talk about how Oscar got rocked a few times either, but Floyd didnt... Floyd won Oscar didnt lose it

I really wanted DLH to win but IMO Floyd won 115-114. I would have accepted a draw but I don't think Oscar won!

Actually a blind man would see that Floyds jab was 20 inches short of landing....

If you count floyd's jab hitting the air well then maybe floyd did win....

You can see who clearly won the fight by looking at both of floyd's closed eyes after the fight......

Oscar looked like he went for a jog and his face got a lil red.......while floyds eyes were half way shut.

Not nonsense if you think about it. Prime DLH would jab him to death and block everything Floyd would throw. I was very impressed a 34 year old Oscar was jabbing effectively ( until he stopped in the 9th ) and was also blocking a good amount of Floyd's shots. Also, prime Oscar would be a lot faster than the one on May 5th, 2007.

And yes...just like prime Oscar beat Quartey! That was a FIGHT! Quartey KOed Oscar in that one...wow! Damn I have to see it again!!!!! And yes Quartey probably won BUT how about DLH vs Mosley 2? How about DLH vs Trinidad? PURE ROBBERY. If you would look up Robbery in a dictionary it would give one definition and then under the 2nd definition it would also say " See DLH vs. Trinidad ".

I watched the fight again yesterday and as much as I wanted OLDH to win and as much as I dont like PBF I think PBF definitely won the fight especially the later rounds when Oscar stopped throwing his jab. All Oscars combinations just seemed to be either slipped by Floyd or blocked with his gloves. Floyd has definitely earned alot of respect off me for his performance even if he didnt throw many combinations and was a bit defensive at times and big respect goes to Oscar as well who I thought gave a good account of himself although it still annoys me that he stopped using the jab in the later rounds.
