He beat the crap out of margarito, 10 rounds to 2. it was a blowout. How does anyone see that fight as close. Quintana didn't blow him out either, it was close and we all saw how lucky quintana was the first fight.

Funniest part to me was when Emmanuel Steward says: "Oh my god, I cant believe this" when Williams comes out throwing the same speed and volume of punches in the 12th.
I'd like to see Williams settle in at middleweight and fight there consistently.
What I really want to see is Pavlik-Williams for the middlweight title. When you consider the styles of each guy, I don't see how that wouldn't be a great fight with tons of action.
Your the only one who saw it as a blowout, the judges and press had it 115-113 or a draw on at least 12 cards i have seen. I had it 116-112 and could have gone either way on a couple of rounds, Williams workrate was superior to that of Margarito. Quintana beat him comfortably in the first fight and i think Williams has his flaws that could well be exploited in fights with both Pavlik and Abraham. Perhaps a fight with Forrest in the meantime could set him up nicely for a future showdown at 160lb? The big money will be V Cotto or Mosley so it will be up to him if he wishes to go back down to 147lb, he has time on his side before leaping into the Middleweight division head on.
Other possibilities are Martinez or Mundine? I envy Paul Williams because he has it all at his feet and has a fantastic opportunity ahead of him. One thing is for certain PBF will be running far and running fast from any negotiating table that brings up the name Paul Williams.
Im for WINKY on this fight. No reasons at all ,im just on Winky's side.

Can't believe Ringpiece magazine had Winky to win this one via comfortable UD
How anybody thought it would be anything other than a comfortable UD for Williams is beyond me. Winky, after damn near 2 years out isn't going to beat such a good fighter who has such a high punch output. Was never going to happen. Was always going to be a case out watching Winky cover up and try to absorb the shots with his gloves.
