Nick Smedly. He's a Naseem Hamed protege, same horrible switch hitting style, but he's good and it's workin for him.

i've seen him fight live a fair few times(he's local and knows my fella )
    and i like him too
    marks quick though

But there are some good prospects that are a bit more under the radar, a bit harder to see their fights. I'm bored so I tried to find some youtube footage for most of these guys but couldn't. Guys like the Peterson brothers, Lamont and Anthony. Jean Pascal, a 168 pounder from Canada who's probably the best RJ imitator out there. Jonathan Banks is a pretty good cruiserweight prospect. James Kirkland is a 154 pounder that fights a bit like Terry Norris. Also like Juan Manuel Lopez, the (I think) bantamweight from Puerto Rico.

One guy that's never on American TV is Jorge Linares. He fights out of Japan. He's a 130 pounder, good size, good technique overall, good jab, good body work, pretty smart fighter for a prospect. According to maxboxing.com he gave Pacman good sparring and embarrassed Ponce de Leon (Linares was fighting at 126 at the time, Ponce 122). Here's a clip, I think he could be pretty good:

I would've voted Juan Manuel Lopez, but admittedly I have not seen the other fighters too much. I would NOT vote for JCC Jr., 'cause although he has shown good talent, I totally object to the way he's being brought slowly (too slowly) along. Like father like son, I guess. (sigh)

In that video there are certain instances where Linares reminds me of DLH's style. Obviously he's nowhere near DLH's skill level, but he has a similar jab, and posture and seems to have a decent left hook.

I like Juan Manuel Lopez, I'd put him just ahead of Chavez, Jr

In fairness JCC Jr. only fought 4 amateur fights so hes basically doing his amateur work in the pros.

i dont think there is anything wrong with how JCC jr. is coming along..

it worked for his dad and it will give the kid more experience and confidence going into the bigger fights..

some are ready for world title shots at 20 yrs old and some at 28.. different people have different peaks..

i like JCC jr. he is developing good fundamentals and good body punching among other things...

He's not on the list, but I'd go for Corrie Sanders
