i was also amazed with how VD got to the top. I'm wondering more why he's seldom at the top. He's got good knowledge in boxing but can't seem to translate it to right predictions.

I think it's being investigated right now. I don't mind though. He's so far behind that even a perfect score next week would only barely put him in the top half of the table.
I think it deserves as much of an investigation as you all of a sudden scoring high points after starting off poorly. You were the VD at the beginning of the tourney then all of a sudden started picking up high points every week
i think it started after he complained that the contest was rigged.

Kind of but I'm still petitioning to have you thrown out on account your Welshness so you may yet lose by appeal.

Ah seriously you did well, literally tore apart the field with your jammy 3 week streak where you seemed to get about 6 straight KO round predictions bang on.

I'm still bitter about the Julio Diaz quit job and how Michael Buffer called it for your round even though he quit in between but never mind the new season begins in a couple weeks and I'll have a load more grievances to grumble about then.

Comiserations to No Contest, poor guy led for 3/4 of the competition and on the last day slumps to 4 th place, if that was me it would ruin my Christmas. I'd be drowning my sorrows with sherry and mince pies, too sad to even blow my cracker whistle.

I did ok in the end, 8th place is respectable although I don't like finishing below El Gamo.

Still now I know the rules, I lost loads of points at the start of the season through not knowing them so I can modestly say the little hobbit must be the favourite to win next years first competition.

Hopefully ICB, Wacko and a few other big guns will enter to make my victory all the more sweet.

So Merry Christmas to all, well done to the Welsh Devil for a well deserved (even if he is Welsh) win and better luck (for me only) next time

Oddly enough TrainerMonkey had the most spot on picks or "weekly achievements" as I call them.

He had 6 worth over 100 points

And he still failed to make the top 10. Imagine how badly he would faired without those lucky picks?

He would have been battling it out with Violent D amongst the also rans

Nah 12 is ok. It's when you barely make the midtable like Violent D that you need to really reassess whether you are following the wrong sport

Also Rans. Next year I am going to pick with my head instead of my heart. You guys are in trouble. I love starting out because it is a clean slate. And I really sucked.

That's the reason why I'll NEVER win cause I wouldn't predict/go against my fighters....
    I just can't....
