I saw the movie 13 yesterday...

Not really much too it and thought it was shit to be honest.
I think the ending is the only catchy part about the film.

Kings Speech - Again it was alright, I was expecting more from this and Black Swan.

I watched 'The Secrets of Freemasonry Revealed' .....it is humorous to me that they feel the need to stick with such trite allegations that The Mason's run the World and are linked with every conspiracy ever!

I also watched OSS 117 Cairo Nest of Spies and OSS 117 Lost in Rio...brilliant movies. Jean Dujardin is hilarious.

True Grit - was adamant I wasn't going to watch this as I revere the Duke bit it was ok. However I don't know what all the hype is about when people say its brilliant and better the original. Its good yes but not in that league imo. Ending was shite too



Predators - surprisingly this was much better than I was expecting. And Adrien Brody as a bad ass almost worked (put on a Solid Snake voice to carry it off)

I watched it again today. Never again though, just too awful to watch. Brilliant, but no hope whatsoever. The bleakest piece of filmmaking possible.

The Expendables:
Good action flick Stallone is still buff and acts and talks better these days. Loved the fight scene on the basket ball court by Jason. Arnie is in it hahaha funny scene.
Jet Li cool, as is the whole team Jason Stratham is great as usual. Randy Courture did ok, Lungren ,steve Austin etc etc. Fun ,kick ass style movie.

The Whale rider:
Really nice, moving, well shot (angles) and scenic family flick. Has a deeper message its like watching a masterpiece being painted.
It highlights an all too well known male dominant culture from New Zealand and you get to feel its effects, then get to see it come apart at the seams through the innocence of a wonderful little girl.
