I saw this German/Dutch (not sure) film years ago when video shops still existed. Utterly POINTLESS remake as it was basically the exact same. Whilst watching I thought it must have been the same director. It was.
Horrible, horrilble film, which is of course the point.

Believe it or not Miles sometimes people just want to be entertained by a movie for a couple of hours, it doesnt need to stimulate their intellect, doesnt need to be happy, or sad or anything..............just a couple of hours of disengage your brain at the door entertainment.

I just watched 'The Day of The Jackal' about the true story about OAS trying to assassinate Charles DeGaule. Great story, great scenery, and damn near true to life.
