I am still having fun with this and eagle, I ain't backed up on how I've felt about mayweather and until he proves otherwise, he'll continue to be boring to me. Call me hater all you want fellas it's ok to let it out. I have followed his career for years and he doesn't impress me with what he's accomplished.

The places they've taken themselves to, sure they've impressed me. Some were boxers some were punchers, ALL have stepped in to the ring and had me on the edge of my seat. The criteria was "who impresses me", not who I thought was an all time great or who I thought the better fighters were.

Only thing you replied with was slating Mayweather's opponent's nothing else come on answer me all these questions don't try and get out of it just answer it.

I have answered this question in many forms before even in that thread, but I'll do it again.

What makes these and all of mayweather's fights boring to me is the fact that he isn't, in my opinion, challenged by the fighters he has faced. The fighters that he has faced have been exciting in their own right but floyd, to impress me, would need to move up to at least middle weight. I think he could do it, all bullshit aside. It's at this point that I usually throw in RJJ and PAC. These two guys stand out as elite fighters to me because of the fights they have taken in their career. I truly and honestly have never thought anyone floyd has fought had much more than a punchers chance, even if they had no power.

I don't know how to explain how I feel about him any clearer.

It's been fun fellas. I don't mind being the a** end of this whole thing. I have to get up early tomorrow though so it's good night for now. I'll pick it back up next time.

From my point of view, I can't stand Floyd. His stupid rap songs and his huge ego and wannabe gangster b.s. and lack of respect for any opposition. Some people love all the trash talk from him, I can't stand it. But when it comes to pure, raw skill, hands down he is the best. How can someone even argue the skill with which this man has and has shown through the years I mean, people want to say he is boring to watch and he does enough to win. So Isn't winning what it's about. I mean that dude was knocking out people and exciting as hell down in the lower divisions. He could probably still make 135, but his last fight was with an all time great at 154 and he still won Damn, what more could you ask of him He is a small dude, and has somewhat weak hands, so how is he going to bang with much larger men, and why should he when he can just run circles around them and make them look silly I don't know why he fought Gatti and Baldomir, other than for the money, but how amatuerish he made them look. He is one of the greatest boxers to ever put gloves on...period.
Now I wish people would at least give Ricky some props for even getting in the ring with Floyd. But more people hate on him than Floyd. He is even smaller than Floyd but he comes to fight and hell, there's no shame in losing to the best, everyone else has.Only after Kostya and Castillo were people saying they were shot, but Ricky put it to them regardless and did what he had to. Tackie, Phillips, and Massau weren't exactly bums, so ease up on him a little. He'll put up a better show than Gatti and Baldomir did, so at least my money will seem well spent. I personally am rooting for Rick, and would love to see the shock waves if he beat PBF. It won't happen though most likely, but at least we have a big fight to look forward to. My heart says Ricky, but my mind says Floyd. Emotion vs. Logic; and logic usually wins every time. Some people on here need to grow up.

For the record i dont like Floyd anymore than i do Ricky. I may have a bit of a chip on my shoulder cos ricky beat my fave boxer Kostya, but i admire his desire to win, and the fact that he has moved away from Frank Warren to chase the big names.
Good point u mke about logic. Not enough of it is used at times by many posters here who let their emotions get in the way.

'There is no shame in losing to the best' I am totally in agreement. Great fighters lose to great fighters, there is only one winner. Losing in boxing ain't a bad thing AT ALL when you face the best there is.

It makes me laugh how u and other posters are made to look stupid yet come back for more. Its also funny how u have probably seen only a couple of PBF fights and call him boring, yet at the lower weights he had a high ko % and had several exciting fights. He cant help that he sometimes dominates opponents so much its boring.....
