England's formation was quite good, but if I was Eriksson,I would have a dilemma because ok,Becks scored, but could you imagine how many chanes they would create if they put Lennon on? That boy is electric and his pace scares defenders. They need more support for Roooney up front and Lennon could give it but I'm sooooo glad Carrick got a chance,I asked for that ages ago!!
Still cannot believe the Walcott situation,is he even going to play?!?England seem to be gettig the luckk teams get when they go on to win the cup,Portugal are going to weakened and are there for the taking although if Ronaldo is tou, there is sitll Simao and Big Phil is tactiacally far superior to Eriksson so who knows?

If he was going to come on why not give him a few minutes during the group stage when things were more or less sown up for us and it's far less risky? How the hell can he be expected to come on at this point?

I guess that is the "Sven" mentality. I mean to even bring Walcott was ridiculous,I'm not even sure why Arsene signed him for us!! I have a sneaky feeling we are going to see him play at least a few minutes in the next match.

I think he is Arsene's sort of player, and Mr Wenger can see he has alot of attributes that just need to be moulded and i think Arsenal is the place to do it, but on the other habd he might turn out to be another Pennent for you, still not sold on him.

It was tough on the Aussies, but show me a player who wouldnt look for the pen in that situation.

The Aussie defender should not have gone down! If he has stayed on his feet, then he Italian would have had nowhere to go and I agree with the analysts, just this 1 time,I think Hiddink got it wrong. Italy, down to 10,you have to pressure pressure and pressure!!

Skel,I still think AW paid waaay too much for a kid who looks good in training and in the odd match in division 1.I hope Wenger can work his magic but I'm still not sure.

Australia got fucked I agree w/ The Game though the kid from Australia should have tried to stay on his feet in that situation. I hate it when the officials calls decide the fucking outcome.
