3-0 Milan, Gilardino after 78 minutes.
Ronaldo always crumbles to pieces when things are not going United's way, so predictable. He has no mentality! Totally anonymous for pretty much the whole match.
Kaka' is overwhelming Vidic with his pace and skill.
Gattuso is like a tiger out there.

Match is beginning to break down with the frustration from United, it is like boys against men out there. Ronaldo got brilliantly disposessed by Seedorf and then put in a stupid tackle to earn a yellow card and put himself out of the final... if United were in the final that is.

You know I was listening to the game on Syrus satellite radio and the commentators are fwocken mindless, I'm a united fan and root for them I'm also Milan fan I like both teams in their respective leagues. Heres at UEFA I wanted Untd. to win but oddly enough the Milan win has me happy too. I'm not bothered what I am bothered by is the 2 commentators (English) who said made a comment about 'Sportsmanship' going out the window this was right before Gattuso went down and Milan kicked the ball out for injury time. So in Untd. would give the ball back to Milan you know the was it's supposse to be, well the commentator started saying If I was Untd. I wouldn't return the ball I would just play on well sadly and I say sadly because I dislike shit! like that Untd. did not return the ball to Milan. The commentator laughed and said 'at a boy' but I could here certainly some anger/dislike in the way he said it. He also with like 6 minutes left kept saying OK, Man. U need to get on by the 3 min. mark and then another before the 1 min. and that puts 'em through. and then in injury time OK, here it is they did it to Bayern they can certainly do it to Milan. I mean this man was bitter.
That kinda ruined it as IMO, I'm the type of person that can take a loss. This man I wish I knew his name obviusly couldn't.
Good game all in all and can't wait to get home and watch it and certainly can't wait for the final.

Although its standard protocol to give the ball back I wouldn't think twice about not returning the ball if I thought the other team were taking the piss. You see it too often, player goes down like a sack of shit, ball goes out and low and behold he's up in a flash. I didnt watch the game so I couldnt say if this was the case here bu if it was I would have no problem with it.

Ronaldo crumbles?? Mate he needs to see more of the ball for that to happen i blame the shit tactics of Fergie who basically said the opposite to the way we actually played, i have posted my thoughts in the who will win the match thread and basically united have been garbage away in Europe for years now, and especially this year the cautious approach just doesnt work our midfield and defence is not disciplined enough for that sort of game and we dont have a natural holding midfielder like Hargreaves maybe Fergie thinks thats the missing link?? who knows but this year we have beaten by Copenhagen Celtic and Roma beat Lille and Benfica by 1-0 but in both games were under immense pressure for large parts of the game, they are a shadow of the team that go to places in the Premier and bang four in for fun, im not saying that your Boltons and Evertons are are good as these teams, but it's just the way we go about things in europe away that pisses me off. I congratulate Milan they made my team look like little boys tonight, overall im happy with the season at the start of the year when we were 6/1 for the league joint 2nd favs and 9/1 for european cup about 5/6th favs its been an awesome year.

Unless you have two premiership teams playing, as the way we do it here is to play to the refs whistle.

Like when Mikkel Obe went down with a twisted ankle against us.

Kaka' went down with cramp and Milan put the ball out while Gattuso was helping him. United threw the ball back in and gave it to Rooney who made a run down the right wing and crossed it in to no success. Then Gattuso went a bit mad and got himself yellow carded for running his mouth off a Scholes (Did anyone else see him making the 'w*nker' gesture to Scholes? Haha. ).

When Ronaldo has the ball at his feet and things are going right for him, he is a joy to watch... but last night he had no interest. He wasn't chasing anything, he was getting disposessed easily and looked like he just wanted to be back in the dressing room to be honest. I've said it all along, for all his talent and skill, he only really shines when the crowd are behind him and everything is going well.
Last week was a perfect example... did you see how fired up he got after United equalized? All of a sudden he was tearing up the pitch, chasing Milan players and creating chances. Before that when Milan were in control, he was anonymous. If he could add the Roy Keane or Raul mentality to his game, he would be one of the top 5 players in the world in my opinion.
Insane talent though! Hopefully as he gets older he will become the type of player that can help pull a team out of the trenches like Keane used to do at United.
