39 votes for PBF, 38 for Hatton. Closer than I would have thought.
I'll go with Floyd by decision like I usually do. I don't see a stoppage, people repeatedly pick Floyd by stoppage but he just hasn't been getting them lately.
Floyd's walking into the ring with Wayne NewtonThat's badass.
Two other guys walking in with him, I think from that bullshit Dancing show, can't remember who they were.
Come Saturday night, I'll be sending my violent energies through the television set to my man Ricky. Ricky, you gonna have to take a few, quite a few, to get the job done, but i know you can do it. Cut that ring off and bang to the body. Forget about Floyd's head the first 8 rounds, just bang bang bang, to the liver, to the guts, to the arms and elbows, and never stop. Good things are gonna happen in rounds 9-12.
GO RICKY!!

Go Ricky!!!
We still have our bet dude. If Mayweather wins, I honour my bet for the whole of December with you, and then the whole of January with TysonBruno.Originally Posted by LEGION

This is one of the FEW fights where I don't care much about the hype as much. (Sounds like a re-run)
Just can't wait to see Hatton under the lights on Saturday.![]()

If you'd like a preview of that...just stare directly into the sun for atleast 20 minutes or so...you'll be blind as a bat...much like I expect the majority of us to be after the glare off of "Lilly-White" burns us for 12 rounds on Saturday night.Originally Posted by Gyrokai

I initially thought Hatton would make it a tougher fight than most thought but Floyd would win. However,I thought Hatton was trying to convince himself by saying I'm still myself, witty etc. I also got that impression in 24-7,when they are in the car with him and he says I'm going to win this,I know I am. It's as if he is trying to convince himself.
Floyd's last three opponents were naturally bigger men with more power than him, so he was extra cautious, just getting the feeling this past week that Floyd might try to make a statement early and take some of the belief away from Hatton. It's getting reallu close nowOriginally Posted by OumaFan
Hatton's naturally bigger than Floyd too.Originally Posted by Bomp

I agree with that, but the difference won't be close to the extent Baldomir and ODLH had over him. In the last press conference, Ricky didn't look half as big without his fat suit on. For me it all depends how Hatton has put on the extra pounds, he needs to have done it much more effectively than against Collazo, I'm sure he has, but still might not be enough.Originally Posted by hitmandonny
Ricky's best attribute at light welter was his strength and stamina at the weight, he was able to impose his will, when he couldn't he struggled (Urango IMO) but had enough skill to overcome his stronger opponents. His punches must have a profound effect on Mayweahter because he won't outbox him.
Well although I find myself dissing my fav fighter I have to say that the poor performances against Maussa, Collazo and Urnago were all a direct resultant of Rick's irresponsability between fights. For the Collazo fight (out of complacency) he got himself DOWN to 147, rather than doxn to 140 and building himself to 147 as he should have.Originally Posted by Bomp
For the MAUSSA FIGHT, HE LET THE INSULTS GET TO HIM AND ABANDONED GAMEPLAN AND AGAIN HIS DRINKING AFFLICTED HIM.
aND IN THE uRANGO FIGHT FEEL IT WAS AGAIN HIS IMMUNE SYSTEM KICKING UP AS A RESULT OF ABUSING IT ON HIS TIME OFF.
hOWEVER, i DO FEEL THE uRNAGO FIGHT WAS THE WAKE UP HE NEEDED AS HE FOUND HIMSELF IN WITH A YOUNG FIGHTER WITHOUT HIS TRADEMARK STAMINA AND HE WAS FORCED TO STRUGGLE THROUGH. As i said this was a wake up call and he will have learned from mistakes.
damn capslock button is a nuisnace on this computer!!!!!!1

I expect RH to be in much better shape than he was in the three fights you mention, but still don't think it'll be enough. He'll make it a good fight IMO and won't get humiliated as some guys think, but IMO he won't be able to land often enough and hard enough to wear Floyd down.
