They recounted the scores later, there was a mistake "apparently",I think there is a link to see the scorecards, they had round 12,10-10 but then crossed it out and gave it to MAB?!?

CC,that is EXACTLY what I have written everywhere I have been today. Did you see MAB'S face,Juarez has awesome power,if he let his hands go more,he would be deadly.Questionoes he have the power to hurt Pac? In my opinion, anyone on the end of that awesome left hook will feel it! Straight right was not half bad either!
If Rocky let his hands go more Barerra would have stopped him.

Juarez was so effective because he was patient and looked to counter off of Barerra and wear him down in the later rounds, it's always been his style. if he threw more Barerra would have picked him off and beat him up.
Naaa,no basis for that statement. MAB stunned him a couple of times, that is all. if Juarez used more leather,he could have swamped MAB ESPECIALLY towards the end of the fight,MAB looked exhausted and Juarez heavy hands could have caused more damage!

I don't have time to read all posts but I'll say this.

Walking to the ring, every time he's not looked focused coming to the ring he's not performed 100% saying that during round one I figured it was just me

I think round 2 changed the entire fight. The damage to the nose, maybe broke? maybe the blood was going down his throat but it for me altered how the fight would have gone. Like MABv Morales 3 Morales got nose damage and the second time he fought Pac.

I was expecting a loss. Looking at Barrera in the 10th sitting in his corner he looked very deflated. Watching the fight again I can see how people could have it a draw or a round or two either way for either fighter.

    They should rematch.

But he still won at least 5 of the first 6 and no way should there be a rematch,Juarez was lucky to get the shot in the first place,he was like 3 rd choice and at this point in MAB's career,I'd prefer he fought someone different, cemented his legacy.Agree though,he looked like he wanted to cry in the corner,I think Lampley pointed out he looked down too!

unfortunately we get adverts or spakers talking crap rather than proper commentators. I'll have to re-watch and score.

I think it takes some of the shine off Barrera win . Whoever added it up wrong should be punished

The weekend is over...& therefore...so is the drunkeness as the Wack one is back at work.

Let's clean up this sticky mess.

The only thing I can say is that Barrera definitely looked slow that night. He didn't seem to have his heart in the fight.
Once in awhile, get outside in fresh air, take a deep breath & with a deep sigh, let out all the things that's bottled up inside you & be free, & you'll get a glimpse of nirvana.

with blood coming out of his nose for nearly 11 rounds I find his heart to be one of the few things that can be questioned.

I didn't mean "heart" in the sense of "fight to the end at all cost", but in the sense of "being emotionally in the fight" - he just didn't seem to be in the fighting mood that night, at least not like when he fought Morales in their last fight because if he did, I think he would have easily beaten Juarez.
