Good fight for Calzaghe really ...easy payday and all the US dreamers saw their pumped up loser given a lesson...shouldn,t have been stopped so early but just smacks of a fiddle.....Calzaghe got a wide US audience but probably wasnt to pleased with the early stoppage as he had'nt even warmed up....my Gran would have out a better performance up than Manfredo and she's been dead for 3 years

Hand Picked, cherry picked whatever you want to call it. Manfredo managed to crack the top 10 when he took this fight. Along with the paycheck, an unearned ranking must have been part of his consolation package.

Plus they had to bump him to make this fight appear somewhat legitimate, even though anyone with a brain could tell he was way out of his league to begin with. HBO called Manfredo "a hot newcomer." They aren't fooling nobody with their nonsense.

actually, nobody in the us really gives a fuck about manfredo, i would think he is more popular over there, the contender does bad here, and i would assume 99% of the people supporting him tonight just wanted to see calzaghe lose

i counted...

3 landed, and one to the back of the head, and when the ref stepped in the punches werent even hitting manfredos arms, he was dodging at that point
