Also, Tyson only had 50 career wins and if you look at the people Lewis has been fighting through the 90's to Tyson's opponents then it levels its self up, Lewis beat everyone there was to beat, Tyson stayed away from the best, and when he did step up he got beat !!

If Tyson would of fought exactly the same fighters Lewis fought in the 90's Tyson would have a few more losses on his record, I know that for a fact !!

Its my thread dumb shi t, i can post if i want and i wont listen to little people like you who think they know everything . First off, im not on the net 24/7 searching for statistics on Tyson and Lewis. Im a basketball player, and i love the sport of boxing but im not obsessed. I wouldnt know the stats, but i have asked boxers and they say the same thing that Tyson would whoop Lewis. Everybody says Tyson, why dont you jsut give up? You hear tysons name everywhere, and if you say boxing to some random person, the first thing to come to mind is Tyson. Thats cause he was the best, people dont care for Lewis, they dont like him, and they know Tyson was the best. So stop complaining, whining, and dissing on people over the net, because its super childish. And you never see like personal videos of Lewis anywhere. Theres Tyson videos all over the internet, easy to find. His prime was so outstanding that he is known as the best ever, and he was much younger than lewis and dont tell me age doesnt matter.. lol jesus

Oh and how would you know that for a fact? LOL if the people Lewis boxed would have boxed Tyson, Tyson would have a tougher time, but he would have a bigger challenge, learn quicker, and still finish them off. He killed all his opponents in the first few rounds..if you bring tougher guys in, it would take him longer to knock them out, but he would win and he would be more challenged, which would eventually make him a much better, tougher fighter. And also all the shit Tyson had to go through and he still managed to do all this? Imagine if everything went clean through his career..he would still train, and become much better.

Sorry to butt in, but I have to say that I am not impressed with Lewis. He didn't even give the man that was whipping him, Klitchko a rematch like he promised him. Although Mike has been a little lackluster about his career over the past few years or so, I see he has changed a lot. For instance, he has started to at least fight whoever is out there (and went for the "best" at the time in Lewis). I mean, give him credit. He put forth an honest effort.

When Mike fought Lewis, he wasn't ready either. He was ranked 10th in the world compared to Lewis being the champion at the time. Mike wasn't ready for that fight and no doubt, Lewis did beat him even though he still had to lose points twice for hugging and holding Mike.

One of the reasons why I think that Lewis is not a fan favorite is because he is too "arrogant" and too "picky."Â He wants to fight who he wants, when he wants, like somebody owes him something. No one owes Lewis anything. He's no Muhammad Ali.

Druglycunt You are talking about Lewis in the last days of his career, Lewis didn't even have to give Kliszcho a shot he could of retired straight after Tyson if he really wanted too, but he didn't...... and face facts it was the heaviest Lewis had ever weighed and he didn't get Lewis a wupping like you think, the punches that the crowd wooooooohed to was Lewis's big uppercuts and right hands, and Klitszcho's face did not end up like it did off Lewis kissing him did it

Only one person was going to witn that fight, and that was Lewis Lewis played possom first few rounds, but the 5th and 6th were Lewis's


So you lot look back at Lewis's career and think he fought no body's and people past their best, its a easy excuse, if you look at it, how many great fights would of we seen if Tyson had the balls to get in with the likes of the opponents that Lewis fought.

Or even better, What about any of the top heavyweights getting in the ring with Lewis in the mid 90's when they were all paying him not to fight him !!

I wasn't going to touch this but I was ringside for fights of all three, Lewis, Tyson and Ali. Being ringside, there are no illusions or camera angles, I like Ali on skill alone. He was always the under dog and he always won bigger than anyone expected with no special effects or commentators on his side. Many people don't really look at the opponent this way. One more thing, there ae quite a few fighters whose punch couldn't crack an egg who were champions for more than one title defense. The past is dead and comparisons though interesting are passe. We hve lots of good fighters, let's be vocal about them and be grateful they are entertaining us now, healthy an in great shape.

listen..................if mike stayed focused nobody could have beaten him...just listen to kevin rooney--if anyone should have a beef with tyson or would say something bad about him its rooney--the guy got dropped by tyson like a bad habit and then i think rooney sued him--it was a mess. and after all that rooney still says that if tyson stayed focused he would have been undefeated and would have dusted holy and lewis. and i agree. by the time tyson got out of jail and especially at the time he fought lew lew he was mostly gone. even in his current state he is a factor in the division. hes closer to being world champ then holy or lewis at this point.
