Kaovichit drops 2 spots to #4
My manager vote this month is to drop Silence Mabuza 1 spot from 5th to 6th.
I am playing at something here, this would move Montiel up to 5th spot and he is challenging Hasegawa and that would open up the possibility of a championship fight, I know it's a long way to get there, but I figured I'd give it a shot.
Mabuza hasn't won since 2008, one fight in 2009 that was a loss. Montiel has a win just 2 weeks ago.
For every story told that divides us, I believe there are a thousand untold that unite us.
I heard Hasegawa-Monteil is a no go.
I hope the fights still on. I was going to do this at the beginning of next month... good move Greg. Either way Mabuza needs to be demoted!

No way Arum is going to put Montiel in with Hasegawa. He just doesn't take that kind of risk with his fighters.
Well looks like its still on...

Just putting this vote up for Cleon, who suggested it in a deleted thread.
After defeating the highly touted & previously undefeated Hernan Marquez (who was rated 10th at Flyweight entering the fight) should Richie Mepranum enter the pool at 115 after his win at the Jr. Bantamweight limit?

Should the winner of Ibarra/Zamora enter the Flyweight pool?
This pool is seriously lacking bodies, the winner of this bout (3/21/10) takes a minor league strap.
Oscar Ibarra - Boxer
vs.
Darwin Zamora - Boxer
Both guys are young active fighters that are working their way up the hard way.

Why not? Its not a great match-up but it seems very even. Plus Ibarra holds a victory over the promising Adrian Hernandez.
I think guys like Cesa Seda Jr (although his last fight was at 115) & Shigetaka Ikehara should also be added to the pool.
My Lightweight pool is pretty stacked, but I have a few suggestion for Straw:
The Akira Yaegashi vs Kosuke Takeichi fight in May could qualify for the pool or possibly a rating, Sammy Gutierrez could also enter the pool, his last fight with Raul Garcia was a cracker & could have gone either way, the Yader Escobar vs Daniel Jarquin fight should qualify for pool entry.

This vote should have been put up in Feb, but I missed it due to outside concerns...
Manuel Vargas rated 10th lost his 2nd straight fight in a row in February. The fight was at 115 to Nonito Donaire but because it was his 2nd defeat the option to remove him was presented.
