Re: Just another one of Wacko's Drunken Round by Rounds : Pacquiao Morales III
Alright, this debate has gotten into the nerves of many people here including our gracious host Wacko so let me try to help out a bit. I can't believe you're still arguing this simple mathematic question. Let me try to put some sense to this. Ok, class, where shall we start. We'll start with the Juarez - Barrera fight. I analyzed this fight in the Wacko's J-B thread and I said that Juarez was not yet a first class fighter, though pretty good one, and that Barrera was having one of his off-nights. I said that if Barrera fought from the outside and kept Juarez at bay with his jabs and straights, he'll do fine, which he did despite my doubt. But Pacman is no Juarez, period! It's almost unfair to pit Barrera, who at around 33(?) years of age, has definitely lost some of his speed, power and stamina, against Pac who most probably has reached the peak of his power. Unlike Juarez, Pac can gobble up all the jabs of Barrera while giving him at least three of his power shots in return. Now here's your assignment: how long can Barrera take this at his age? Let me give you a clue: Erik can take only 3 rounds of it. Alright students, do your calculations, and if don't know your 'ritmatic, then get youself a calculator, and come back with your answer and if you got it right, I'll give you a star + just like in the grade school...
...How long can Barrera take that considering Eric can take only three rounds of those? I don't know but definitely it won't be for 11 long rounds like the first time when Barrera was stronger and when Pac's power had not yet reached its peak. I hope it's clear enough. Naw, I know it's impossible to argue with fans.
...BUT...
Once in awhile, get outside in fresh air, take a deep breath & with a deep sigh, let out all the things that's bottled up inside you & be free, & you'll get a glimpse of nirvana.
